As the season changes and most hunker down, this is when our community erupts into an exciting winter wonderland. Lake of the Woods is known all around the ice fishing community as the world’s best hard water fishery. With that said, the popularity of our ice fishing destination has grown exponentially over the past few decades. With portable and permanent fish houses, snowmobiles, plowed roads, and track vehicles, Lake of the Woods has never been easier to access and enjoy during our winter months. Just as the fish move in the summer, so do they move in the winter and it is up to this great fishing community to stay on top of the fish.

Lake of the Woods Outdoorsman features 4 beautiful (10x20) & spacious 4 person sleeper ice cabins that have indoor bathrooms with changing area. Clean, cute, cozy and comfortable to maximize your ice fishing adventure! Houses have cook tops and are supplied with dishes and extra things to help you bring less on your trip. Mounted ceiling fans help keep the temperature even throughout the house to keep you comfortable in 30 above or 30 below.

We also have new 3 person sleeper with cooktop and oven added to the fleet this season.  Perfect for small groups or couples.

Our cabins are reached via plowed lake access so you can drive right to your ready-to-go fish house!

Bring 2 or bring 19, we'll do our best to accommodate your needs and help your group GET ON THE FISH and have a great Lake of the Woods ice fishing experience!
